Polysius Acquires A-C Equipment

MILWAUKEE - (May 9, 2007) - Polysius, a ThyssenKrupp subsidiary, has acquired A-C Equipment Services Corp., Milwaukee, USA. Grace Matthews, Inc. advised the shareholders of A-C Equipment on the transaction. Terms were not disclosed.


A-C Equipment is a leader in the cement kiln market and supplies parts, construction services, technical assistance, and engineering services for rotary kilns and other key components of cement industry equipment. With a workforce of 50, the company generated sales of around $29 million in fiscal 2005/2006.


Polysius is expanding its North American aftermarket business and the addition of A-C Equipment is a major strategic step enabling it to graduate to a full-service supplier for this market. ThyssenKrupp Technologies is a manufacturer of advanced technology plants, components and machinery.
